Whirlwind Summer

This summer has been a whirlwind but has been one of the best summers of our lives.  Our second child was born, Addyson Dru Dimmick on 7/3 and Mya is getting bigger and bigger every day.  It is such an amazing feeling getting to know each of our little girls and watching their personalities grow in front of our eyes.  My last post was quite some time ago and was all about the day that Addy was born.  This post is going to be about the rest of our summer.  We havent' done much but get used to not sleeping again which is totally worth it.  Jessica's mother was down for a month and was an incredible help and it was great to have her.  My mom and my grandma were down for a week and that was such a blessing as well.

In the last week that we had help I was on the road quite a bit.  We had some good friends of ours get married in Province town and I went up to the wedding.  I had an amazing time up there and it was beautiful.  I just wish I could have stayed longer. Here are a few pictures of this:

This is where Josh and Scott got married.  It was a very pretty wedding.  So happy for our friends.

For some reason Mike and I decided to take our pictures in the phone booth.  Not sure why....

I also took a 4 day trip to Las Vegas with some of my buddies from back home.  We gambled, saw the sights, and went golfing.  We didn't get a chance to go and see a show but will definitely do that on my next visit.  We won't talk about what happened at the Black Jack table.  It was not good...haha.  I can't wait to go again and take Jess next time.  Here are a couple of pictures from Vegas.

A couple of weeks ago Mya and Addy started at a new daycare.  We found an in home daycare that is just over by Jessica's school.  It is so convenient and she does a great job with the kids.  Mya does different activities every day and they started working on the Alphabet.  They study a different letter every day.  Mya has so much fun.  Here are a few pictures from her first day at the daycare.

More activity time

We are so happy that they love the new daycare.   I can't believe how fast time is flying by and I know that they won't be my baby girls for very long.  We are just enjoying every day with them and love every minute of it.  I am also including a link to a video.  I bought a popcorn maker.  Mya loves doing activities with me and I thought that this was something that we could do together.  The video speaks for itself.  Enjoy:

Mya's 3rd birthday is coming up so there will be more pictures and videos very soon.  Stay tuned...
