Fall is in the Air

It has been a very busy couple of months in our household.  Mya changed her mind on the theme of her 3rd birthday about as much as we have had to change Addysons diaper.  She finally settled on Pink Dinosaurs.  When she came to this conclusion we got to work on how we were going to plan the party.  When I say we I really mean Jess got to work.  She did a fantastic job at putting together what activities we would have so that the kids that were at the party would have something to do.  I got to work on putting together the invitations.  I think they turned out great if I do say so myself..lol.  Jess did quite a bit of research online to find ideas for fun things to do at the party.  She came up with a few things that went over very well.  We did a dino dig where we filled up a little plastic pool with sand and with miniature dinosaurs and let the kids dig through and find all the different kinds.  We also did pin the plate on the stegosaurus.  The kids loved that one.  All of the kids got to decorate their own hats as well.  It was adorable.  Here are the pictures and a video of the party.  Enjoy...

Mya is getting bigger and bigger everyday.  It is amazing to me to see her grow and I love her so much.  She has outgrown her tricycle so we decided to get her a new bike for her to have fun with.  Here are a few pictures of her riding the bike and a video for you to see how good she is getting at it...

Mya is such the little tom boy.  She wanted to go out and get a tee ball set for her birthday with one of her giftcards.  I am so proud of how well she is doing with it already.  She is my little baseball player.  She always wants to come to my games and play baseball with me.  Makes me so happy...

Mya's new Dance Class

Mya is almost 3 now and we decided it is time to get her involved in some extracurricular activities.  She has always loved singing and dancing so we decided to give Ballet a shot.  She loves putting the tights and the shoes on so I was sure that she was going to love the class.  We are now taking her to the class every Tuesday night for 30 minutes each for the next three months.  The class is full of 2 year olds and is adorable.  She will even have 2 shows in December.  She is goign to have a Christmas recital and will also perform at an old folks home as well.  I am really excited to see how much fun she has and how she grows as a dancer during the next few months.  I love seeing her so happy.  I am posting just a few pictures and a couple videos because the class was closed off which is both frustrating and understandable.  I don't think a room full of 2 year olds would do much dancing if the parents were in the room.  The teacher did let us in the room the last couple of minutes so we could see what they were learing during that day.  I just want to watch the whole thing but I understand.  When the class was over Mya didn't want to leave until she gave her teacher a hug.  It was cute.  If anyone wants to know anything about her class or her teacher they have a website.  It is Danceforjoyjax.com
