There has been quite a bit going on with the Dimmick family over the last couple of months. I recently got a promotion at work so I have been working a ton of hours getting used to the new job and the 2 girls are definitely keeping us on our toes. Mya and Addyson are getting bigger every day and there isn't a day goes by that I am not laughing histerically at something that Mya has said. We were all in the car the other day and she asked Jess and I where we were going. Jess responded that we were going to the grocery store and without missing a beat she looks at us and says "ok mommy...if you say so". Of course she said this in the sassiest voice that she could. We are going to have our hands full with this one...:)! My new position with work has me home every night so I am not traveling as much for work anymore so we have started a new tradition with the family. Every night we go on a walk/bike ride around the neighborhood so that we can talk about the day and just spend some quite quality time together. We are very much enjoying this. We are also trying do more puzzles and games with Mya. The older she gets the more that she wants to do what the adults are doing. Her favorite game right now is Candy Land. She is getting really good at it. Mya will be starting her second year in her dance class on Tuesday and we are really excited about it. She is getting pretty good for her age at the dance moves that the teachers are showing her. She loves it and we love watching her do it.
Addyson is growing like a weed. I took her to the doctor the other day for her 6 month appointment and she was 17.5 pounds and 26.5 inches long. She is a little more than 7 months old and she is already close to fitting in her 12 month clothing. She is eating baby food now (more ends up on her than in her) and seems to like it. We are almost to the point where we are going to introduce more solid foods. She seems to do something new each day and we love it. We couldn't have asked for 2 better kids.
We took the girls to the beach the other day because the weather here has been amazing. Here are a few pictures of us at the beach and a few more of different odds and ends. I am also attaching a couple of videos for your viewing pleasure. Please enjoy!
